Description: Shoes b/w Shoes (Stereo & Mono versions)-Reparata (Polydor 14271) Released in 1975. DJ/Promotional Copy. Includes original stock Polydor sleeve. Appealing track that almost became a big hit, if it weren't for Lorraine Mazzola's lawsuit concerning the name 'Reparata' which caused this single to be pulled from both record stores and distributors after 3 weeks of release. Lorraine had been masquerading as 'The real Reparata' when she became a member of Lady Flash, a group that backed Barry Manilow in the mid 1970's. When Lorraine failed to show up in court, the case was dismissed, but that episode caused some damage to the real Reparata. Mary Aiese (lead singer of Reparata & The Delrons) is the 'real' Reparata.
