Description: This is [mostly?] Renwals 1961 Visible Airplane Engine..later reissued by Revell as the visible Wasp..but not motoriuzed. I have inventoried this kit ..and trhere are a couple of "issues": clear parts: ?complete.??.not 100% certain the 3 tiny clear "nut retainers" are there--assume they are not!! The original cylinder heads were cemented...i have another set in a sealed bag from the Revell release. You get the unassembled Revell parts unless you request the assemebled Renwal heads! There are 3 nut retainers--i know theres one..the other two MAY be missing!! Blue:t his is a VERY complicated kit! ive seen many with some assembly...invariably its the crankshaft & cylinder heads [steps 1 & 2]..and then the kid has a meltdown. So...the crankshaft parts in step 1 WERE assembled. i was able to disassemble most of them by soaking in bleach--but residue from the cement is there [if you ask i can substitute the Revell history makers parts for step 1] Red: 100%! Black: one part seems to be missing..i will recheck. if its really missing i may have it in with some spare parts OR i will replace w the part from the Revell kit Gray: SEALED in original bag Metal/motor etc: these appear to be complete! NO..i didnt count screws and nuts! INSTRUCTIONS/BOOKLET--MAY BE printed from pdfs.. i may have originals...will need to do more searching!! BOTTOM LINE: may be missing 2 clear retainers. Some parts [cylinder heads] are from the Revell kit; crankshaft parts have been disassembled. Soooo?? SENT FULLY INSURED!!@
