Description: Perfect for Ren fairs, SCA, LARP, & reenactment/historical events. For consideration is a 2pc handmade, early Renaissance-style woman's costume. It consists of an elastic-draw waisted skirt & a back lace-up brocade bodice. The skirt is a slightly heavy-weight gray fabric that has a textured silk look. The waist has an elastic running thru the waist band that you can pull to adjust to your sizing at the side seam. Waist band is upper stitched for a quality look. Inside seams are selvage edges so no fraying issues. Machine rolled hem. The brocade bodice is reversible for 2 different looks & laces up in back through strong metal loops w/ a silver metallic cord. One side accents the beautiful blue & grays & the other adds a dramatic black panel with the same fabric as the skirt. The shoulder straps are wide. Outer stitching at some of the seams will keep your seams setting neatly & reduce ironing. Wear it over your favorite chemise. Shown in some pics w/ a hoop which is not included in the sale. Looks very nice with white or ivory. Outfit is shown on a plus size body form. Please see the measurement for a good fit.
