Description: Vintage Remington Arms Kleanbore 32 Automatic 71 GR. Metal Case Ammo Wood Crate Shipping Box! This is a really cool looking old wood ammo box from Remington! Solid. Nice patina! Both ends have nails and little pieces of paper/cardboard from an old shipping label. The label is gone, but you can tell that there was once one there. There are built in handles on each end. One end has a chunk of wood missing where the nail split it (see picture #3). That very well could be from the factory when it was built. It isn't that noticeable, but to be fair, I wanted to point it out. I picture someone turning the case upside down or putting a thin board across it to display an old pistol, duck decoy, or other hunting object. How cool would it look displayed with old bullet boxes? Could be used for kindling next to your fireplace or cabin woodstove. This Remington case would surely attract attention! You can tell that it is an old veteran of the hunt. The box measures approximately 16" wide by about 10.5" deep, by about 5.5" tall. Perfect to display an old decoy! The pictures were taken outside on a cloudy day, sorry.
