Description: Please view the pictures in detail to see the condition of this can and its paper label. It has been stored in a display case in a humidity-controlled home for over 50 years. Manufactured in Ashland Ohio by Hess & Clark, the founders started their business in 1893. I believe this is an earlier version of 2.5 lbs and specifically for LICE, SHEEP TICKS and FLEAS. It does not say "Made in the USA” which I believe came much later and the ingredients are different (see below) FORMULA: Naphthalene, 14%; Tobacco Powder (Inert, with the exception of Nicotine present), 3.8%; Nicotine, 0.1%; Phenol, 0.1%; Commercial Hydrated Lime (Inert) 49%; Ochre (Inert) 33%. I doubt you will find a full 2.5-lb can this old with a completely readable label with minimal wear and just a few discolored spots at the edges where the metal rims are at the top and bottom. The colors and the art portions of the label are in remarkable shape. Please compare to others here and elsewhere and make me an offer. The last picture shows the only small ding/dent I have found, the previous picture below “Manufactured by” appears to be a stain and not a tear. Look at the rest and then buy the biggest and the best
