Author Biography Gennaro Schiano (1985) es investigador posdoctoral de literatura española en la Universidad de Nápoles Federico II. Se ha dedicado a la literatura del siglo XX, al género autobiográfico y, en particular, a sus relaciones con la novela. Además, se ha ocupado de la obra del autor madrileño Ramón Gómez de la Serna y de la tradición literaria del género de las greguerías. Actualmente es miembro del proyecto DisComPoSE (Disasters, Communication and Politics in Southwestern Europe) y sus líneas de investigación se centran en la representación de los desastres de origen natural en las relaciones de sucesos y en las conexiones entre la literatura aurisecular y los géneros populares informativos. Además, es miembro del proyecto Bidialogyca (Universidad de Verona), dedicado a las traducciones al italiano de diálogos españoles publicados en los siglos XVI-XVII.
