ORIGINAL ART - PAINTINGPRANCER: REINDEER TRACKS" artist: Carol HeyerThis is an Original painting by Carol Heyer created for "PRANCER" by Stephen Cosgrove - a children's book in his DreamMaker Classic Series, published 1989 by Graphic Arts Center (I show the published book cover for reference) Heyer is well known as an author and illustrator of children's books, with more than 30 to her credit - and several of them relating to the Christmas and Easter Holidays. For this book, Carol produced all the original interior paintings and cover, most of them double-page spreads leaving some room for the text, and most of them larger than usual illustrations created for books, so the visual effect is fantastic! This two-page spread shows Jessica following the tracks of an injured reindeer she believes is "Prancer" - part of Santa's team - and it's a beautiful scene, painted in acrylic on unstretched canvas, 24" H x 36" W and signed. Note, the painting could also be cropped to eliminate the blank page (except for the tracks!) so that the full paintings is featured. It's an option for all the double-page spread paintings that have left room for the text.NOTE: No rights of reproduction accompany the sale.
