Description: Reed's Engineers Hand Book to the Board of Trade 1st 2nd Class - Marine Engines This 125+ year old book is in fair condition. I believe all pages are present, with the first 10 pagegroup being loose. I read that it is Illustrated by 324 Diagrams and 36 Large Plates by the Author, butI do NOT find the plates that it states as being part of the book. I believe they were originally attachedto the back of the book in a separate envelope which was not with this copy when I purchasedfrom a local estate. So No Plates are included. The preface page is dated 1897, it is also marked as the 16th edition. As you can see, the cover is barely hanging on and the end cap is mostly missing. I've tried to giveyou the best representation of condition with my photos, please view closely. I can find reprints of this historical book, but only one other original copy for sale online today. Book measures: 6" X 8.5" X 1.75" thick Books I sell are used, I try very hard to capture any flaws I see & show them in the images displayed.
