Very light weight ( approx 3 1/2 lbs) ideal for travel, hiking and backpacking. It comes with 2 top plates. One permanent that measures approximately 2” x 1 1/2” and has a 1/4-20 camera mounting screw. the removable top plate fits over the existing plate screw and locks into place. This plate measures approximately 2 3/4” x 2 3/4” for medium format cameras. This is an all metal tripod. The legs extend and the collars lock. (Not like the models that don’t have locking collars and the legs slip). this tripod is very sturdy. Ideal for 35mm, medium format, digital, movie or video. Also ideal for a collection it is approximately 50-70 years old and yet it is fully functional. It is in extremely nice condition.
