Description: The Red Cross Girls with the Russian Army - a 1919 PRINTING (copyright 1916) + Dust Jacket & Partial Photocopy underlay - by Margaret Vandercook 1) The Red Cross Girls with the Russian Army - a 1919 Printing with only red & black colors on the Dust Jacket - in a Mylar plastic Wrapper with a Photocopy underlay of the DJ Spine. Unfortunately, The book and Dust Jacket are not in very good conditions (see photos). A dense small-ish book: 7.5" tall x 5" wide with 265 pages. SOME STAINING ON THE COVERS AND SPINE WHICH SHOW WEAR AROUND THE EDGES, BUT THE PRINTED TEXT IS DISTINCT (see photos); GOOD FRONT HINGES AND TIGHT BINDING; LOOSE BACK HINGE WAS REPAIRED AND HAS TAPE INSIDE AND OUTSIDE (see photos); NO MISSING OR TORN PAGES IN THE BOOK; GOOD CLEAN PAPER SHOWS MINIMAL AGE-TONING; GLOSSY FRONTISPIECE; NO INK, WRITING OR MARKINGS ANYWHERE IN THE BOOK OR ON THE DUST JACKET; THE DUST JACKET IS MISSING THE FRONT FLAP, PART OF THE FRONT PANEL, AND PART OF THE SPINE (see photos). FOR AESTHETICS, A PHOTOCOPY DJ REPLACES THE FRONT FLAP AND SOME OF THE SPINE AREA UNDER THE ORIGINAL DUST JACKET (see photos). Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE From a smoke-free home. I will try to get items to the post office within 1-2 days, depending upon whether it is a weekday or weekend sale. Hopefully it will help that most items are shipped with tracking and/or delivery confirmation – “most” because it would be silly to pay $4.00 for tracking and/or confirmation on a $2 item. I’m also happy to combine shipping for multiple items – just need a request to make it happen. If used, delivery confirmation confirms delivery to prevent fraudulent charge-backs of claimed unreceived items. So if you are checking a delivery confirmation number, the first time you see data about your package might be when it gets to your local post office (not as informative as tracking). In general, shipping will be as low as I can get it. For more expensive items, the shipping cost may include insurance. If shipping a non-sport trade card(s) – the cost depends upon weight. Ebay rules state: One single sealed pack or up to 15 standard raw cards per package weighing: 1oz = $0.53 2oz = $0.73 3oz = $0.93 Returns: almost all items will be USED (not new) and therefore sold AS-IS. In general, I tend to be detail-conscious, so the specifics of condition should be reflected in item photos and descriptions. However, if it turns out that I miss a defect, accidentally omit something or make an error in the description, please let me know and I will try to fix it. Since ebay limits the number of photo postings per item, a variety of extra photos may be taken for purposes of discussion in case the need should arise.
