Description: Rebajes Copper Brooch with Raised Flowers. Rebajes Rectangular Copper Brooch with Raised Leaves. This 2 1/4” x 1 3/4” brooch was made by jewelry artist Francisco Rebajes. Rebajes had a shop in Greenwich Village, NYC and his work was featured in the Metropolitan Museum of Art and the 1939 World’s Fair. It has his usual modernist style and is signed with his stylized signature. There is wear to the brooch’s original finish and there is verdigris on the rear of the brooch.
