Description: These are drop in replacement crossovers for the metal version of the Realistic Minimus 7. The mounting system will not work with the wooden version of the speaker as it has the crossover mounted with four screws from the outside rather than two on the inside. This crossover is based on the PZ 2.1 (Pete & Zilch) mod from Audiokarma. It makes them sound much better and more flat. They will seem to not sound as good at first depending on your preference but once you get them up to louder levels or listen for long periods of time you will find that the tweeter is significantly less fatiguing. There are many different layouts people have used for this build and it is easy to spend 10 or more hours putting a pair of these togethere. This drop-in option is very convenient and saves you the time. If you are interested in a kit of the parts and backing board, I will start offering a kit for less soon. Included with your purchase is: 2x completed crossover boards for the aluminum version of the M7 speaker using 5-way banana jack compatible binding posts4x washers to put on the stock mounting screws1x ball of acousta-stuf to split in two and put in each cabinet behind the tweeter. I made these crossovers to last so each component is zip tied, glued, or has its leads running through the hardboard so that it is secured in place. Check out the video in the listing to see how to install them, it is very easy. Shouldn't take more than 10-20 minutes. I test each pair before shipping them out and as such there are no returns offered on them. I will package them carefully in a box. *Your pair may look slightly different than the ones pictured but will generally use the same components.
