READ! 1989 Cromy Skate Argentina Sealed Deck REISSUE Tony Hawk Rodney Mullen RC

Description: Please read the entire description and I will do my best to explain everything I know about these decks. The 1989 Cromy Skate set was originally released circa 1989 only in Argentina. This company released many decks of cards for a game (similar to War) with different subjects. Although the Skate set was a quality control nightmare, it featured the earliest cards of Tony Hawk, Rodney Mullen, Lance Mountain, Christian Hosoi and others. I stumbled across a seller in Argentina who had many sealed decks for sale. However, he was selling them as reissues. I asked questions and he had no information for me other than he thought they were reissues. Looking at the rest of his online store, he had numerous different Cromy decks from that era for sale as well as many other toys. It became apparent that he must have bought out a former toy store or something similar. But, I thought to myself, how could anyone have ever reissued these cards. They were so obscure to begin with. And nobody had any idea Tony Hawk was even featured in the set until just a couple years ago. So, I took a chance and bought a few decks. They arrived in the correct case, and with the correct stickers. Aside from the color appearing a bit more saturated than expected, everything looked right. The seller in Argentina sold 20+ decks before I bought any. And people were grading the set rapidly once PSA began accepting it. They graded and authenticated numerous cards from these supposedly reissued decks. It's evident the cards are from these decks because the blue backs are clearly different and the pictures are much grainier/more saturated. But as time passed, PSA must have been made aware of these being possibly reissued and deactivated the cert numbers on many of the Tony Hawk rookies that had passed through (I owned two Lester Kasai (Tony Hawk) PSA 9 rookies). Almost all of the cards in the pop report are clearly from the same batches, and should be deactivated as well. It is my opinion that nobody other than Cromy could have possibly produced these decks. Correct card stock, along with other aspects being identical, make it farfetched another company reprinted them. Maybe they could have produced them slightly later than the originals, but Cromy went out of business in the mid 90's. So there's not much time for them to have been reissued. Not sure why the coloring appears different than the clearly older/original cards. So, I am offering these as REISSUES, even though I'm still not convinced..
