Description: PLEASE FEEL FREE TO MAKE AN OFFER A Genuine WW1 Military Cavalry School Brass Compass by JH Steward of London. The back is stamped: "Cavalry School Compass JH Steward London". This is quite rare & getting hard to find. It's in expected used & poor condition for an item of this age & nature. Sadly there isn't sufficient fluid inside for it to float freely. It doesn't appear to be leaking so it's somehow dried out a little. You can get it to move slightly by tilting it. Maybe there's a way to replenish the fluid? But it's still a very nice little find. I'm not sure what the little rod is that stick out over the compass face but this looks broken too. However still a great little piece of history for the collector. Please study the images as they also form part of the description & please do your own research. All UK postage includes the extra cost of being signed for, for added peace of mind. Positive feedback is always appreciated. Please check out my other items by scrolling down to my "Seller's Other Items" as I am selling other war related artifacts.
