Description: Rare Vintage WWII A.E.Co. Army Nurse Corps Sterling Wings Bracelet. These are original wings that were converted into a bracelet using a sterling chain bracelet. Wings are named and belonged to a Nurse and have her name and serviced number etched on the back. I do not know why she had pilot wings, they could be from her husband or sweetheart but it is unusual to have her name and service number instead of her beau's. Measures roughly 6 3/4" around the wrist. Has general wear from age and use. It appears at some point it wore out and the holes were reinforced but they are again very worn down. Sold as-is.
