These boats where a familiar and pretty sight on the Grand Union Canal in the 1950's, carrying coal to fuel the boilers at the Ovaltine factory on the canal at Kings Langley. The kit contains a strong G.R.P. hull moulded with shaft outlet etc; Bulkheads, internal supports, and Decks are precut in best quality 1/4" birch ply. Cabin, Cratch board, stands, Gangplanks, etc; are from screen printed 1/16" ply. A full set of Colour Transfers are included and a load of "Real Coal"Seems to be complete with factory sealed Narrowboat Detail Packs and motor, only thing I seen is the detail pack with lead figures one arm is broken on one, all pieces unpunched, in original box.
