Description: This is a very rare and hard to find, vintage preowned OTAGIRI CRYPTOMERIA wooden turkey. Cryptomeria wood is a native species of Japan. The word Cryptomeria means "Hidden Parts" , which is evident in the amazing large grain with distinctive bands which can only be seen when carved in such a way. This is its natural color. It is not painted with these bands.It measures 3 tall at its tail and is approximately 4 long, and 3 wide.
