Description: ARE VINTAGE NATIONAL SAFETY PUMPLESS BLOWTORCH - BEAUTIFULLY RESTORED Vintage Reconditioned Blow Torch. Made here in the USA. Condition is "Used". Shipped with USPS Priority Mail.Two ounce capacity, gasoline, self-acting blowtorch was manufactured by the National Safety Device Company of Chicago, IL. To operate, a small amount of gasoline was added to the "cup" on top of the tank. The resulting heat expanded the gas in the tank, producing pressure and eliminating the need for an external pump. Once it was operational, there was no need for "pumping", thus the term "self-acting" or "pumpless". This torch is in superb condition with no observable flaws.Meticulously researched and reconditioned to how this would have come out of the box! A "David E. Kolb" original masterpiece! This is a beautifully restored antique blow torch. My late father passed away in early 2020. Collecting and restoring these items was his passion for as long as I can remember. He spent the time to ensure that the color match and finish matched the original manufacturer. My photos do not do justice for how well this looks!!This torch is approximately 8" tall and 5" wide at the base and about 9" from handle to nozzle.This torch has been completely taken apart, cleaned and inspected. Any necessary repairs have been completed and the torch has been pressure checked for leaks. I have not attempted to ignite it myself, but knowing my dad's eye for detail, believe this is in full working order. Have questions about the authenticity of these listings?
