Description: RARE! Vintage Hewlett Packard 86B Computer HP 86B s/n 2330A10006good working conditionincludes 82903A 16K memory module We do not have the appropriate monitor to fully test this HP86B Here is some text that we found on eBay: From the Centre For Computing History: “The HP-86B was released in 1983, replacing the 86A. It was a modular machine and had no built-in printer, mass storage, or display. The 86B omitted the two disc drive interfaces and parallel printer interface in favour of a single HP-IB interface. The 86B also came standard with 128K RAM, and had built in Electronic DISC ROM. The 86 series featured an output port for composite video, and was commonly connected to the 82912A (9 inch) or 82913A (12 inch) monitor.” We tested it with a VGA adapter but the monitor could not quite sync up due to the HP different scan rate.So the first few letters are not there, but it was tested in the past with the proper monitor and found to be working fine.So the adapter, monitor (and nothing else) are not included and are shown for demonstration purposes only.Signs of previous use, small scratches, sticker residue and signs of age exist, but essentially it is in good condition. So for that reason we are offering it AS-IS Add UPS shipping cost to your destination.
