RARE Victorinox Swiss Army Knife INOXYD ARMEE SUISSE 46-48 Woodsman CN ORIGINAL

Description: Listing for Antique Victorinox SwissArmy Knife Pocket Knife Xtra Rare - 1946-1948. Measures 90.5mm long, 20mm thick. It has the CN scales. The main pins are are white nickle, the liners are all white nickle. All of the functions/blades were mirror polished. This has the post-1946 lobster can opener. Main blade is marked INOXYD with crossbow, other side is marked ARMEE SUISSE with a cross. Punch is in top shape, wood saw is very lightly used, if at all. Scissors in top shape with original spring. Can opener/punch is in top shape. Slotted screwdriver, bottle capper has some twists, deformations to the tip, but still closes correctly. Main blade has a fair amount of improper grinding and scratching to the cheek. Small blade has the bowie tip, with also considerable grinding and warping, damage to the edge. Main pin for main blade is broken. Shrinkage to the scales, which is expected. The corkscrew is broken off. Knife purchased from a kid who said his grandfather gave it to him. And he used it for one summer to cut roofing shingles. :-( Main blade and smaller blade reflect this. He used a 4" grinder to sharpen it and clean off the tar. Used the screwdriver to open cans of adhesive and broken off the corkscrew opening cans of adhesive. ALL of this damage happened last year. He only stopped using it because he broke the pin on the main blade. Its been given a primarily inspection and cleaning to judge the save-ability to knife. It can be saved and repaired. Driving out and replacing the main blade pin - fully functional.
