Description: A vintage Tag Heuer 1000 for sale, it is in good condition. It keeps time very well as a quartz should, hacking seconds, quickset date, date change, time setting, and screw down crown are all normal. I think this watch is one of the most eye-catching designs for a vintage piece, it's silhouette is very iconic, similar to that of a vintage Rolex submariner perhaps, it stands out and is perfect for a statement piece. Also, for me it satisfies that vintage Submariner look without having to spend much. This watch is iconic and memorable for more than its design though, as many know it is featured in "The Wolf of Wall Street" as Jordan Belfort's timepiece, though in the film he uses the fully gold plated version instead of the two tone one. As well as being the watch that saved Heuer from the quartz crisis as it sold consistently and provided Heuer with the recognition it deserves. Overall, a very pleasant watch, a total eye candy, it feels very spot on the era of the quartz crisis, from the bracelet, dial, design, and so forth. The bezel action is also very unique in my opinion, it is clicky with a springy feel to it, not like many Heuers I've handled before where its just an audible "click", but on this watch you feel a tension before the click and then a satisfying and audible "click", compared to a vintage Seamaster or other dive watches of the same era, I think the bezel action feels better on this Heuer. Also, since it is a quartz, it is perfect for those vintage watches you can wear as a "daily beater" as you dont have to calibrate the time ever so often!
