RARE Tripedal Yixing Chinese Clay 3D Design Lotus Pods Frog Silk Cording Teapot

Description: This is an exquisite piece! A true work of ART. I have no idea the age of the piece but I do know the artistry and craftsmanship is superb and desirable! A brown ochre colored clay - Yixing - ground with lotus leaf & lotus pods with tadpole designs swimming / floating along the front and forming the 3 ( tripedal ) decorative feet! The handle is layered and delightfully done as well as the double-gourd ( great luck ) spout and frog with red silk cording embellished top of the teapot! Unbelievable detail and execution. The teapot itself is ovate - or asymmetrical oblong. The other side has Chinese characters inscribed that I could not translate. Artist’s stamp is on the bottom. MINT condition.
