Description: Vintage and Rare Presidential pattern - Theodore Haviland Limoges Scalloped Rimmed Soup Bowl measuring 9.5” diameter, 1 1/2” depth. It features elaborate gilt painting over a gradient rich blue background that fades into a ring of finer gilt decoration. Mint condition. It is a beautiful collectors item and is an asset to a lovely table setting. This Limoges pattern was used during the Franklin Delano Roosevelt administration with a monogram in 1930s as a gift from France. Their family donated remaining pieces which are now on display at the Hyde Park Museum, New York.
