Description: After leaving Pussy Galore in 1988 Julie Cafritz (who had founded that band along with Jon Spencer) went on tour with future Gumball musicians Don Fleming and Jay Spiegel in their back-then project The Velvet Monkeys Here's a record that's long out-of-print and signed on that tour! Between all three of these artists their band credits include (besides Pussy Galore, Gumball and The Velvet Monkeys) Free Kitten, 1/2 Japanese, STP, The Action Swingers, Dim Stars (which also included Thurston Moore and Steve Shelly of Sonic Youth and Robert Quine of The Voidoids), B.A.L.L., and many more !! Julie's signature is the one where she wrote "Gettin better not older". Don wrote his within the picture of the wires on the back (likely just to be ornery!). And Jay signed using a play on his widely used nickname "The Rummager" A great and rare artifact from a one-off Indie-Punk Rock super-group tour !!
