RARE Sideshow Exclusive MARVEL X-MEN VS SENTINEL Diorama **LIGHTS UP!** 158/650

Description: This is the 2005 SIDESHOW EXCLUSIVE X-MEN (CYCLOPS / COLOSSUS) VS. SENTINEL POLYSTONE DIORAMA with LIGHTS!!! The moment I saw this I knew I had to have it! I had never seen a statue this massive with LIGHTS! This item is numbered 158 out of 650. (I initially had a lower numbered version but when it arrived none of the electrics worked. Sent it back and received this one. Love UPS.) This statue was sculpted by Pablo Viggiano and he knocked it out of the ballpark! It is 19" wide, 14" deep and 22" tall. I tried to weigh it but the base covered my scale to the point I couldn't see the readout. This is the first time I have taken the statue out of its box in almost 20 years. Taking it out was easy, putting it back in the box the seam came apart where the adhesive is. It was a clean separation so no damage was done to the box. I have the original Sideshow shipping box as well, which I will use to ship this item to the winning bidder. It comes with the original power cord (0.15a 4.5v 300ma) which is about 66" long. The switch is a rectangular push button located between Cyclops legs (see photo. It blends in.). Also, the hand repulser is realistic as it lights up and then dies down and the exposed wires in the back switch on and off. Cyclops visor lights up too. However, the Sentinel eyes DO NOT. Not sure why. They did when I received it. There's a small rattle noise inside the head. If you know someone who is a skilled electrician maybe they can repair it. Besides that, the statue is in mint condition and the box is in decent condition (one of the corners has seen better days. Thanks, UPS.) A true X-Men will get geek vibes just taking this out of the box. There's nothing more satisfying after decimating an enemy designed to annihilate you than striking a pose over its broke mechanitions. The reason I'm selling is because the joy of comics no longer fills my heart the way it used to. I would like my items to go to someone who appreciates the vision and craft that goes into bringing these amazing characters to life.
