Description: Rare Set of 3 JR Limoges France Blue & Gold Gilt Deep Plates Circa 1891 - 1930. Rare set of 3 porcelain deep plates / soup plates with a scalloped edge. Decorated along the edge with fancy gold gilt decoration over blue. Marked on the reverse in green J R Limoges France with a wreath. This is an unidentified Limoges mark, possibly dating somewhere between 1891 and the 1930s. I have only ever seen one other piece of porcelain with this mark. These have some wear to the gilding and wear consistent with age and use, but otherwise good condition. Each plate measures approximately 9 5/8 inches wide. This is an antique and may have small in manufacture defects that do not affect the display of the piece. LW
