Description: Rare, SEALED "Road" self-titled, sole 1972 hard rock, psychedelic rock, Natural Resources, a Motown Company lp, featuring former Jimi Hendrix bassist, Noel Redding, ex-Rare Earth guitarist, Rod Richards and future Stray Dog (w/ guitarist, W. G. "Snuffy" Walden) drummer, Leslie Sampson. Features a DJ cut to the top corner, but unopened and unplayed, with the sealed lp itself is sealed with a protective sleeve. (Via. Wikipedia:) "'Road' is the debut self-titled studio album by American hard rock band, Road. Released in 1972, it was the only album to be released by the band, who split up the same year. The song "My Friends" was originally recorded by bassist Noel Redding's previous band, Fat Mattress, but went unreleased at the time, making the Road version the first published recording of the song. (The Fat Mattress version has since appeared on the complete works package The Black Sheep of the Family: The Anthology, on which it is incorrectly listed as "Little Girl in White".)" I own this album digitally as well and love it. It rocks hard w/ great riffs and a thunderous rhythm section. My personal favorites are "I'm Trying", "I'm Going Down to the Country" (the only non-heavy, hard rocking' song on the lp - a haunting acoustic number), "Space Ship Earth" (great riffage) and "Road", which features an extended Noel Redding base solo. Track Listing:1."I'm Trying" (6:33)2."I'm Going Down to the Country" (2:42)3."Mushroom Man" (4:08)4."Man Dressed in Red" (7:00)5."Spaceship Earth" (3:28)6."My Friends" (6:17)7."Road" (9:29)
