Description: Two vintage "Tartan" dessert plates made in Czecho-Slovakia by the Erphila Company, established in 1886. Beautiful harvest matte colors in a tartan design. According to online sources, they were made in 1930-1940 era. Size: 6" in diameter. As seen in the photos, there are hairline cracks that are common for plates this age. They are sturdy. I bought one at least 30 years ago in an antique shop in Kentucky. The other one was found in an antique store in WV. I have listed them as rare because there are few of this pattern.
