Description: Here offered is a very rare specimen of gold from the Amazon rainforest. Specimens of gold rarely reach us from this remote region of the world even though it is quite rich in gold and other minerals. This specimen was collected by a friend of a friend, an exploration geologist from the Sutter Gold Mining Inc. This was presumably collected prior to the unrest in Venezuela.
