Description: selling a Rare Mid-Century Modern MCM JAPANESE Mosaic Tile Coffee Table. from a local estate. striking appearance. we believe this to be Japanese figures due to the garb and what looks like getas on the feet. if we are wrong, let us know. measures 48" x 18" x 15"h. the table has some honest wear along the black edges as pictured. the tile looks to be excellent. underneath the tapered legs have some marks. there is corrosion the metal bands and tips. at some point, it looks as if the legs were moved and reconnected as shown by the additional holes that are matching on each leg. someone probably did it a while back for strength if some came loose because there are scribe marks where to place each one of them. the table is pretty sturdy and strong currently. we left this in as found original condition because we realize some buyers may want it just like it is. the most important feature (the tile) is excellent. the black edges which are wood could be easily cleaned up and redone. same goes for the legs with having them repainted and the metal portions rechromed. this is for local pickup at our place zip 15902. if buyer wants it shipped, they need to make all arrangements and payment to a carrier of their choice. we can place this on a pallet upside down on foam, strap it, and load out if necessary for no charge. we cannot do any other packing nor do we arrange or pay any freight shipping. as is, as pictured. no returns.
