This impressive Brazilian rosewood Mid Century Modern sculptural magnetic piece is meant to be a note holder and makes an awesome piece for your desk. The Magni-Orb was imported around 1970 by Paul Hall, San Diego. The round ball is held to the base by a strong magnetic field (notes can be placed between the two pieces). You can move the ball away from the center of the base and it rolls back and forth until it finally settles in the middle, again. Very cool!
