Description: RARE and LIMITED. Her name is " SAVANNAH" She is a Southern Belle French VICTORIAN PORCELAIN DOLL by Patricia Loveless Doll artist, She is 22" and she has gorgeous curls and a very distinctive face. Savannah's face is an original sculpture by Patricia designed to portray the delicate beauty of the old South. Savannah is dressed in a beautiful rendition of the "riverboat" era costume which exemplifies the finest of high fashion of pre-Civil War southern gentle women with fully coordinated accessories. The dress is highlighted by a beautiful and dramatic hoop style skirt. Both layers of fabric are trimmed with matching peach ribbon accents, satin roses, and fine ivory faux pearls. Her sleeves are most distinctive in that they are fashioned in an unusual legamuffin style cascading down to neatly trimmed cuffs at her delicate wrist. She even has matching shoes! She has a socketed, articulated porcelain bisque head, shoulder plate, arms and legs, and a stuffed cloth body with poseable wire armature. She is signed in 18K gold with the personal signature of the artist. Very limited edition of 2000. She is has a very low number. She is # 51. This doll is in great condition. One owner only - ME No cracks - No Chips - No Repairs - No Hairlines - No Discolorations on porcelain or clothes. Flawless Beautiful Face and Beautiful very curly brown hair.
