RARE Lionel Stock Car Clear Shell Mold Test Shot. Scarce Postwar Post-war

Description: This is a rare Lionel stock car Clear Shell mold. It is a perfect addition for collectors of model railroads and trains. This clear shell stock car is a great highlight for any collector with its unique features and design. This item is a must-have for any Lionel clear shell collector. This came out of the Dr. Woodell collection along with other clear shell items. This is a factory Lionel piece. They shot the first pieces in clear plastic to see the imperfections in the injection mold. Stress cracks in the Clear plastic showed where to adjust the set screws on the mold for a more even flow. This item is dirty. Dr. Woodell said the old timer he got it from dumpster dove at the hillside plant. This is an extremely scarce oddball Lionel piece.
