Description: Very rare and hard to find, Antique Liberty Tudric Pewter tankard made by Tudric Pewter (Liberty Pewter), has initials engraved "RMS Queen Elizabeth". This tankard was used on the RMS Queesn Elizabeth ship. Maker: Tudric Pewter - They were made by the Birmingham-based company W. H. Haseler. In 1903 a range of pewter of similar design was released under the name "Tudric". Apart from its interesting designs, Tudric pewter differed from other pewter as it had a high silver content. It was also produced for LIBERTY by William Haseler of Birmingham. The RMS Queen Elizabeth was an ocean liner operated by Cunard Line. With Queen Mary she provided weekly luxury liner service between Southampton in the United Kingdom and New York City in the United States, via Cherbourg in France. Launched: 27 September 1938.
