Rare Identified WWI Doughboy CAVALRY Puffed Uniform Pants, Leggins, Button Fly

Description: Nice, RARE Pair of Original Antique WWI Cavalry IDENTIFIED Uniform Pants & Pair of SHORT Leggins DESCRIPTION: Scans show them all….very nice WWI Cavalry uniform pants & identified leggins. Great looking, WWI style pants with "riding breeches look", having baggy seat, wide puffy hips, button fly, padded inner thighs, and lace-up ankles/calves. All similar to typical WWI Cavalry style, and khaki color and material. Soft material, possibly part of a field uniform or fatigues. Front and rear pockets, as well as a small coin pocket inside one of the front ones. 4 out of the 5 fly buttons are there, and both lacings are on the ankles. This pair appears to have been used and they have a great look.In very good, ORIGINAL condition, amazing for a 100+ year old Army item that has been used. All seams and stitching are tight and intact. No size shown, but waist measures about 33" and length is about 32" from waist to bottom of legs. In addition to these is a great pair of short Army leggins that came from the same estate. They are WWI and the lighter WWI khaki color. THEY ARE ALSO MUCH SHORTER (10" long) THAN LATER STYLES. I BELIEVE THEY ARE NOT ONLY WWI, BUT CAVALRY SERVICE, ON HORSEBACK, GIVEN THE SHORTER LENGTH. The best part of these leggins is that they are both stencilled "G.H.Day" in several places. They show honest wear and use. They came with the pants, so it appears that both items were used by the doughboy soldier G.H. Day.Both pieces are in nice condition for the age, and constitute a great addition to any early WWI collection or display. WOULD LOOK GREAT ON A MANNEQUIN OR WITH OTHER UNIFORM PIECES!WWI uniform pants are a scarce uniform accessory item, especially cavalry pants.
