Description: Large southern Idaho Clovis, brick red jasper, Bi-Face Knife/Butchering Tool. It is about 4.5" long and 3.125" wide; fits nicely in the palm of your hand. Some of the areas around the edges are heavily ground. This could have been used as early as 14,000 years ago according to the COA. It was found by forest ranger while hunting along the Snake River in Idaho in the early 1980s. The name will be provided to winning bidder as well as its ownership lineage. Please refer to the pictures; they are an integral part of this listing. This artifact comes with two Certificates of Authenticity which I was provided when I purchased this in August of 2019.
