Description: Wonderful pair of vintage autographed notes from Harold Lloyd and Hal Roach, two very important figures in early comedy films. Also signed by their wives, Margaret Roach (also known as Marguerite Nichols) and Mildred Davis. Very nice combination of autographs, since Davis was in 15 of Lloyd's movies, and Roach produced many of Lloyd's movies. In Lloyd's 1923 masterpiece Safety Last, Roach was the producer and Davis was the lead actress. These are from the autograph album of actress Ruth Roland, and were likely written in 1929, the date of the other pages in the album they came from. There are some other unidentified autographs on the pages. Each page is authenticated and slabbed by PSA DNA.
