Description: ~*~ Welcome To Our Estate Find Auction ~*~ UP FOR SALE: RARE FIND DIANN HAIST ONE OF A KIND ORIGINAL ART ACRYLIC ON CANVAS SIGNED & DATED (c. 89) "WHY WORSHIP DEATH" This is an outstanding original acrylic on canvas painting by Artist Diann Haist. Haist is a Canadian born listed artist and often utilizes techniques of both the Old Masters and the Impressionist Masters. This piece depicts a clown figure in a deep dark suit, having 3 different masks and wearing a silver cape. The top part of his suit includes a gold dragon. The background is a rich red hue, which fades to black on the top left and bottom right corners with a full moon hovering in the background. Frame measures approximately 28" x 34" with painting measuring approximately 24" x 29 1/2". Wooden frame is painted a blue-silver hue, with orange glittery fabric covering near inner area. Frame and fabric have some marks and scratches. There is a small group of accretion specks on the top right of the image. The backing paper shows punctures and absorption. This is an exquisite one of a kind piece of highly collectible art. DON'T MISS IT! Please see all photos for details and condition for your own evaluation.
