From "The Daily" - A fortuitous encounter with the art director at Martha Stewart Living encouraged Nancy Bauch to take what was once a garage studio hobby and turn it into a thriving online business. After a four-page spread featuring Bauch and her hand-crafted bowls appeared in the magazine, the former packaging designer created a website, and soon features in other prestigious national publications followed. Another happenstance event led Bauch to open her first White Forest store on Union Street. The pottery artist and former packaging designer found the "jewel box of a space" while shopping for socks during a holiday visit in December. She visits more often now, and is relocating her home studio from Cold Spring, N.Y., to the Bay Area. Unfortunately, it looks like WFPottery has closed its doors.
