Hussem published a printed book in 1965 titled "Schaduw van de hand" this is likely a mock up for that book. Hussem (1900-1974) was a Hague artist, mainly a painter and poet. These works appear to be some type of block printing technique, in black and white. There are 42 prints tipped in (pasted onto leaves), plus a few photos and some handwritten captions and titles. Softcover, 10 x 14 inches. Paper covers with handprinted cover, with handwriting on cover. Metal clasp binding. There is some wear to edges of covers. Good condition. A really nice artist's book, one of a kind. No other copies to be found.
