Description: A rare set of six sterling silver corn scrapers / scorers / slitters in the Dominick & Haff "King" pattern of 1880, 5 3/8 inches long, monogrammed in script "AKW", marked STERLING with the Dominick & Haff trademark and J E CALDWELL & CO, 7.59 troy ounces on the set, in very good antique condition without dents, breaks or repairs. These are sturdy and made to last. First use the six tines to score or slit the kernels on a cooked ear of corn, then turn over and use the curved blade to scrape the corn off the cob without the outer skin (pericarp). TW
