This company was the first to mass-market inexpensive books in the United States. This 30-volume set of the Holy Bible is contained in a beautiful cedar chest. The covers look like leather but are faux leather bound. I have had these sets in the past and this set is one of the best I've had or seen. Condition: This beautiful cedar chest has done a great job in preserving these Bible books for over a century. The hasp is complete and working. The decorative copper reinforcements are complete. The individual books are in good condition, especially for their age. Some of the leather edges are yapped and folded over.
