Description: Up for sale is a beautiful antique Salem Bros designed lamp base and shade. The Carmel slag glass shade also has red slag glass shapes at the seams. This lamp has been rewired at some point I would guess based on the cord and plug in the 1950s. It is in beautiful condition and has all the original parts including the original Press pull chain light sockets (I do not know if the insides were changed). The lamp base is signed with the Sale M Bros and ship stamp as pictured. The lamp without the shade measures just over 24" tall to the top of the finial and the shade measures 16 1/2" across the bottom. Apparently Salem Bros was located in New York from 1898 to 1922 which would match the age of this lamp. Thanks for Looking!!!!
