Description: This lovely, unique, and old Rosenthal cup and saucer are up for consideration. They feature handpainted water lilies floating in water and gold gilding, and their design is reminiscent of the Art Nouveau era—organic, flowing lines. Both are made of porcelain and back-stamped "Rosenthal Donatello Bavaria" in green. The plate is also marked with Bavaria, while the cup has a handwritten word that has faded with time. Overall, the set is in good, preloved condition outside of a few spots where the paint is worn and some minor scratches. This is a rare set by Rosenthal. It is an eye-catcher, as it stood out against the others it was with. Please refer to the pictures, as they are part of the description. The saucer measures 5 2/3" in diameter.
