Description: Up for bid is an original antique pre-owned Rainbow Crayons by The Art Crayon Co. Brooklyn NY Box and Crayons. Found at an estate sale of a collector of vintage and antique toys. These old crayons would make a great display item - they have an Art Deco themed package. This is the "Rainbow Crayons" set No. 816. It is a package of 16 wax crayons. As far as I can tell they are the original crayons in the original wrappers. Some are used and others look new. The package has a rainbow design and a great Deco font and design. It advertises on one side “Wax Crayons for Art Work, Permanent, Waterproof, Distinct, Manufactured by ‘The Art Crayon Co. Inc.’ Brooklyn N.Y., Made in U.S.A” Circa early 1900s.
