( I photographed this one upside down! So, I have turned the photograph to compensate ( it's 11 at night , so I can't rephotograph at the moment and I wanted to get them online together! XX The pattern is The best of them all, it's a dragon with wings! ~ I absolutely LOVE this one ~*~ It dates from the 1800's but I can't pinpoint the decade ~Most likely as a way for the weaver to show the patterns that she / he were capable of weaving, the customer could then place the order for the full size blanket. This textile is worthy of any museum in the world, it's a European treasure.
