Description: A large antique photo (8x7 inch, 20.5x17.5 cm) of interior of the Jewish Budget Kitchen or Soup Kitchen, situated in Travessa do Noronha in Lisboa. The photo shows the interior of the restaurant with several tables and chairs. The photo was taken by famous Lisbon photographers titled Photographia Ingleza Lazarus from Rua Ivens 53. It seems the owners were the brothers Joseph and Maurice Lazarus, who were British Jews who settled in Portugal in the late 19th century. They settled in Lisbon in 1908 and their business was active until 1939. Condition: The photo itself is in very good condition. The cardboard frame has a small loss to one corner and some other minor flaws. It is 30x24.5 cm in size – around 12x10 inch.
