Description: A vintage clear bottle, unique in it's 10 sides.Embossed H J Heinz and 76 on bottom No chips, One web site lists this as "#79 hand blown in Sharpsburg factory between 1897-1903. Despite the patent date of June 9 1891, the container was not produced until 1897. Held horseradish, mustard, or apple butter" Measures slightly short of 5" tall. 2 5/8" wide at widest spot. Nice thick glass. Weighs almost 8.7 oz Has two creases that go up to the top. This probably was originally corked. This came from an estate clean out of a farmhouse that was built in the early 1920s. There were numerous bottles in the crawl space of this house which I am relisting separately. I am glad to combine shipping and even give shipping discounts!! This item has been surface cleaned only, I leave thorough cleaning up to the collectors. This is NOT as dirty as the pictures make it look.
