Description: I have for sale a very rare Victorian Era pricking sample book album. Date: 1870's / 1880's Size: 8.25" x 6.5" The pricking sample pages are in very good condition. The only issues with the album concern the binding. The pages are off the spine and some of them are separated from each other. The first group of (6) sample pages are connected, and then there is a grouping of (4), a grouping of (12), and finally (4) connected pages with (2) pricking samples and (2) blank pages. There are a total of (24) pricking samples in the album. The last (4) examples have a lace border. I have provided nearly (5) dozen photos below to give you a more thorough look. I have provided at least one photo of every page in the album. I also am listing a Weaving sample album that was made by the same company. I am separating them in case buyers are only interested in one over the other, but I do combine shipping on all orders.
