This is my last box of the super hard to find factory sealed box of The Honeymooners, the iconic 1950s television series that--along with I Love Lucy--helped establish watching television in America. Yes, watching television. The weekly 30 minute program with Jackie Gleason, Audrey Meadows, Art Carney and Joyce Matthews was watched by millions and still remains a culturally significant part of American pop culture. In 1988, Comic Images came out with a set that celebrated The Honeymooners. The print run was relatively small. There were only 50 cards in the set. There are 50 packs in this box. I can tell you with strong evidence that you cannot make one set in a box! Comic Images did this deliberately, of course. So if you think you can make a complete set or two or even three sets in this box, I am telling you that is not true. I once had six boxes of this. They were not cheap to buy. This is the last box I own. And the price is right--if you want it. $124.88. The box is in good shape. There is a slight tear in the plastic on the top middle--see photo. If you want a fun box to open, I think this will bring back good memories. If you want a good box to keep sealed for the next five or 10 years, I think that would be a good idea, too. Exceedingly hard to find. Even sets in mint condition are elusive. The rules: 1) No discount.
